Terms of Service

1. Software and Terminal Licenses

CropLabel grants users a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to deploy our scale daemon and tag-printing client templates solely for active agricultural tracing operations.

• Gateway software may be run only on authorized terminal scale hardware.
• Users may not copy, decompile, or modify scale firmware libraries.
• Custom tag formats must comply with standard CropLabel RFID definitions.

2. Telemetry and Scale Honesty

By transmitting weight and coordinates logs to the decentralized ledger, you warrant that all harvest metrics represent authentic physical weight outputs. Tampering with scale sensors, duplicate tag registrations, or spoofing geographical coordinates is grounds for immediate profile suspension.

3. API Access and Rate Limits

Developer endpoints are subject to standard tier rate limits. Prohibited behaviors include: executing load-testing attacks on ledger endpoints, sharing Bearer secrets, or attempting to modify signed block transactions.

• Standard Tier: Maximum 60 requests per minute.
• Enterprise Tier: Maximum 500 requests per minute under SLA agreements.

4. Hardware Warranties & SLAs

Physical smart tags (NFC / UHF RFID) are warranted for outdoor weatherability for a duration of 3 to 5 years under standard farm operations. Faulty components will be replaced in accordance with your primary subscription tier agreement.
